The Herb Garden Restaurant

"I ate twice during November at The Herb Garden and was delighted both times, by the service and particularly by the food. My first meal was graced by the most succulent lamb I have ever eaten, whilst the accompanying gratin Dauphinois was better than I've had at Le Gavroche - and they're pretty good at potatoes served like this. I expected my second visit to disappoint but it didn't. Go for what is described on the menu as a bouillabaise but is in fact a small mountain of perfectly cooked shellfish nestling in a beautifully strong seafood reduction with a home made rouille. I had made the mistake of also ordering a starter - don't. Take it from a foodie - this a great little restaurant. Michelin stars beckon. Get in there before they do."   - S Clarke of London.

"While on a recent holiday to Cromer, Norfolk, UK from Canada, I took my girlfriend to The Herb Garden and it was the highlight of the week. The food was excellent and we savoured every mouthful! Service was outstanding, and our table was perfect for an intimate romantic dinner. To top it off there was even a live acoustic guitar player, Rob Q, which added something truly special to the atmosphere. I'm still telling all my friends about how great an evening we had. I'd rate the experience a perfect 10 and thoroughly
